Ghana’s striker Kwesi Appiah has finally made a return to training after a year on the sideline over a career-threatening injury.
The 24-year-old has been out of action for the past 12 months after sustaining a knee injury whilst training with the Black Stars ahead of a Cup of Nations qualifier in June last year.
The Crystal Palace forward joined his teammates as they prepare for the new season.
“It feels good to be back training with the lads CPFC first day of #PreSeason done! More to come!!,” he tweeted.
The striker will be hoping to secure himself a place in Alan Pardew’s team in the 2016/17 season.
