Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso says he is proud to have played against FC Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi on the same pitch.
Wakaso spent about eight years in the Spanish Laliga playing for clubs like Elche, Villarreal, Espanyol, Las Palmas, Granada and Deportivo Alaves.
He left Spain after his stay with Deportivo Alaves to join Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Sunning in January 2020.
Wakaso was asked by one of his followers on Twitter, the rationale behind his profile photo which is him tackling the FC Barcelona captain, Wakaso answered that “Proud bro, I have the same field with one of the world greatest .”
