Kasimpasa midfielder Bernard Mensah has stressed that he looks up to French legend Zinedine Zidane as his role model.
Mensah is having a great outing at the Turkish outfit scoring thrice and providing the same number of assists in fourteen Superliga games.
The Ghana international who is on loan from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid mentioned that he still watches footage of the Real Madrid boss as he seeks to polish certain aspects of his game.
“I like the way Zinedine Zidane played in his days, I still watch his videos as I also want to play like him. Pogba and Ozil are also special players to me also,” Mensah told Miliyet
“I feel more comfortable playing as a number 10, it makes me to score and assists goals. Generally my best motivation is that people are watching me so I have to put up a good performance in every game,”
The former Vitoria Guimaraes player further emphasized that though the speed in La Liga is immense, the outcomes of games is almost the same as the Turkish Superliga
“The intensity of La Liga is very high but one similar thing it has with Seperliga is the results of games, the big teams can beat the small ones,”
Mensah could make his loan deal at Kasimpasa permanent at the end of the season if he continues to impress.
