Retired Ghanaian Coach Herbert Addo says he will only return to the job should a Club be prepared to pay him a whopping $5,000 as his monthly salary.

The celebrated football tactician announced his retirement from coaching after more than a two decade in the job.

Herbert Addo mutually parted ways with Premier League side Inter-Allies after 10 matches in this seasons domestic top-flight.

The ex-Hearts of Oak Coach has however reveled he will only return to coaching should any Club in Ghana be prepared to give him $5,000 as a monthly wage.

"I have been in this field for long time and I know human nature. I know that not everybody likes me, so I knew people will come out with funny stories. These things don't worry me," He Tv3 Network.

"You can believe it, you can take it. I have decided that if I am out of the scene, I will be more relaxed because there won't be any pressure and I can do what I want if I can, that is why I decided to resign.

“"But if anybody is prepared to pay me $ 5,000 a month, I think that might kick me to come back to the scene. Not GH¢ 5,000, I want $ 5,000. If it comes through, fantastic, I will be back and that will make my retirement even better after retirement," he said.

The 64-year-old is one of the few Ghanaian Coaches who can boast of a rich CV having managed the likes of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko and also wining the Ghana Premier League title with Aduana Stars.

The Veteran coach has also managed the Black Meteors team, Black Satellites and the Black Stars.
