Ex-Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng is counting on his experience to propel Rayo Oklahoma City to the American top-flight.
Boateng, 32, has joined the American second-tier on a one-year deal.
The ex-Ghana international hopes to use his experience to revive his new club.
“I am bringing 15 or 16 years of experience in Europe in some of the top leagues in the world and I am looking forward to getting started," he said
"I feel like we can be successful and have a good year in the NASL. I’m very thankful for the opportunity."
Boateng is a well-traveled man having played in England, Spain, Ukraine, Greece, Israel, Sweden and Germany.
