Eastern region 2nd division side Impilo Ghana FC will lock horns with division one side Danbort FC on Wednesday as they continue with their preparations for the start of the league season in their zone.

The game would be played at the Nungua Town Park on Wednesday morning and it would be a very testing examination for the Impilo Ghana team who have looked sharp in their most recent assignments.

Danbort FC are flying very high in the national division one league as they top Zone 3B, and with two matches to end the league, are all but through to the zonal middle league which leads to qualification to the Ghanaian top flight.

As they aspire to great heights, the Nungua Warriors are taking every game serious a situation which requires that the Impilo Ghana side will have to be on top of their game if they are to come out with a positive result.

This would be perhaps their toughest test yet as Danbort FC have not lost a game at their home venue for well over a year now and their victims have included some of the high profile teams in Ghanaian football folklore.

Okwawu United, B. A. Stars, Pure Joy FC and others have all fallen prey to the marauding attack of the Nungua Warriors and they look set to add Impilo Ghana FC to that list.

That would be interesting as the Impilo Ghana side have in their ranks some budding young talents who have shown some promise in games they have played against Accra Hearts of Oak, the Black Starlets, Accra Celtic FC, Madina United Al Sadd FC and Adumasa FC among others.

Playing against Danbort FC would a new experience for the boys and they will hope it serves as a very useful exercise as they prepare for the start of the Eastern regional 2nd division league which is expected to kick off soon.

Impilo Ghana FC will next play Prestige FC on Friday at the Africa Lake Park; La on Friday morning in the latest of their preparatory games as the management of the team seeks a fair idea of their state of readiness for their campaign.
