Injured Gyan travels with Stars to Uganda

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan travelled with the team to provide support in Saturday’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda.

Gyan is ruled out of the penultimate qualifier against the Cranes due to a thigh injury which has sidelined him for three weeks.

He returned to full-scale training last week but was excluded from Maxwell Konadu’s 23-man squad.

Gyan admitted he is not 100% fit to feature for the Black Stars.

The Al Ain talisman has scored in Ghana last three matches in the qualifiers.
