Inkoom wants Congo triumph for wife

FC Dnipro right-full back, Samuel Inkoom is on tenterhooks to give his birthday wife a charming anniversary present as she celebrates her 26th birthday come today, the 26th of March.

The Black Stars of Ghana play away in Brazzaville to Congo in a crucial 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday; of which Inkoom is eager to see victory for the Stars after an abysmal goalless draw game in October against Sudan in Kumasi.

“We are poised to win the game in order not to make things difficult for us in this qualifying campaign. We failed to win against Sudan but we hope to make that count against Congo on Sunday,” Inkoom told GHANA FOOTY in Kenya.

“My wife Omega Inkoom is celebrating her birthday and a win will be the best gift for her and my son. I have her dream car as also another surprise but more importantly, I want to win on Sunday for her and all Ghanaians.”
