Inter Allies confirm Joseph Aidoo departure to Swedish side Hammarby

Inter Allies have announced that captain Joseph Aidoo has been sold to Swedish top-flight side IF Hammarby.

The Ghana Premier League side say the U20 defender, who flies out on Monday night, moves on loan with an option to buy at the end of the deal.

Aidoo was nominated in the Defender of the year category of the 2013/14 MTN FA Cup and the 2013/14 Ghana Premier League.

He won the club’s Player of the Month for January.

His last match was against Asante Kotoko at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday in a league match which ended 0-0.

Aidoo was an integral member of the Ghana U20 side that won bronze in Senegal in the 2015 African Youth Championship and played at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
