Isaac Cofie to switch to Chievo

Ghana international Isaac Cofie could be returning to Chievo Verona as Genoa track Belgian holding midfielder of Congolese descent Gaby Mudingayi.

According to Century XIX, it is almost a done deal for the Inter player to switch camp to Genoa as the Serie A side eye hardworking Croatian left-back Sime Vrsaliko, who is also on the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool.

The report said Genoa could then release Cofie to return on loan to Chievo if the deal goes through.

The 21-year-old has been used sparsely at Genoa and could be more useful at Chievo where he spent last season on loan.
