French Ligue 1 club Sochaux have had a preliminary agreement to sign Ghana’s Ishmael Yartey from Portuguese side Benfica on a four-year deal.
The deal is subject to the completion of medical examinations and Yartey will be in France today (Friday) to go through the process.
Benfica loaned the 22-year old to Servette last season but have now decided to sell him to the French side.
