Ghanaian International and Evian Thonon Galliard defender Jonathan Mensah is inching closer to recovery after sustaining an injury whiles on duty with the Black Stars last month.
Though the 24-year-old is serving a three-match suspension for his unsporting behavior on referee Bartolommeo Varela in a game against Nantes, the former Free States Star player has stepped up his recovery.
Mensah has been a pillar in defence for Evian Thonon Galliard and reports in France say he is expected to play in the last few matches for his club before the season ends.
Evian Thonon Galliard have endured a difficult spell in France and will need to amass points if they want to stay in the top flight French Lique with 5 matches to the end of the season.
The 2009 world youth winner is rumored to be on his way out from France with possible destination be Russia or Turkey.
