Ghana striker Jordan Ayew believes his current performances have shut critics at his former club Olympique Marseille.
The 23-year-old has earned rave reviews for his surge in form at English Premier League side Aston Villa.
Last Sunday, he scored a classy goal in Villa’s 1-1 draw at Newcastle to register his fourth goal of the season in 13 appearances.
"Everywhere I have succeeded, apart from Marseille. I do not regret it, because I believe a lot in destiny," he told RMC.
"Today, I am happy. What happened at OM is over. I do not think I'm a bad boy and I have the qualities. In England, I arrived, nobody knew me.
"It was better this way, my whole family is happy."
