Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has been reprimanded by Aston Villa after the striker was fine following a reckless sending off against West Ham United.
The 24-year-old was shown the marching off orders after he elbowed Aaron Cresswell in the 2-0 defeat at Upton Park.
The Ghana international will miss the next three games with huge fears his absence will effectively kill any chances of Villa climbing from the relegation zone.
The Ghanaian has offered a public apology and manage Germi Garde is ready to forgive and forget and move on.
“He came himself to my office the morning after the game and we had a long chat and yes, he will be fined,” said Garde.
“He regrets it, he apologised publicly, he apologised to me, the team and the fans.
“He behaved badly on the pitch but then he behaved the way he has to after that.”
He will the games against Norwich City and Liverpool.
