Six officials and 18 members of the Zambian Junior National team, the Young Chipolopolo arrived in Accra this evening for the encounter against their Ghanaian counterparts, the Black Meteors at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Sunday.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency at the Kotoka International Airport, the coach of the team, Mr Peter Kaomba said although the match would be a tough encounter, the team had come to win. The captain of the team, Kalililo Kakonge on the other hand said they would do all they could to win, adding that " We are here to do our best and may the best team win", he said.
At the airport to meet them was Godfred Musonda, Zambian High Commissioner to Ghana and Mr Ngondo Nubuyaeta, First Secretary to the High Commission in Nigeria and officials of the Ghana Football Association.
