Ghana international midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has described himself as ‘privileged’ to play against Ivorian star Didier Drogba in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash at the Stamford Bridge.
Boateng played full throttle for Schalke while Didier Drogba lasted till the 76th minute when Chelsea failed to win against the Germans with the tie ending in a 1-1 stalemate.
“Always a privilege to see and play against you my brother @didierdrogba,” Boateng tweeted.
It was the second time Boateng was playing against Drogba who has a soared reputation in the English Premier League with Chelsea after playing against him during his spell with Portsmouth six seasons ago.
The two plays could face off again in the reverse fixture.
