KP Boateng salutes retired AC Milan legend Abbiati

Kevin-Prince Boateng has paid tribute to AC Milan legend Christian Abbiati who quit the game on Saturday after 15 years at the club.

The 38-year-old goalkeeper has been with the Rossoneri since 2008, making 374 appearances, as well as having loan spells at Torino, Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

Having been displaced by first Diego Lopez and then Gianluigi Donnarumma, the veteran hang up his gloves after Saturday’s game at San Siro.

Abbiati won the league and a Super Cup with Boateng.
