KV Mechelen Offer Asare New Contract

Belgian club KV Mechelen are to offer Ghana winger Nana Asare a new contract after transfer negotiations with Anderlecht look to have broken down.

Asare was supposed to be headed to the Brussels-based giants at the end of the season but the transfer figure placed on his head has seen talks break down. Mechelen bought the 22-year-old from Feyenoord in 2005.

Nana Asare who is now in the camp of the national team the Black Stars to help the nation in the qualifiers to the world cup in 2010 confirms his happiness about this development.
