Kasoa Salgado to sue Feyenoord Academy

Cape Coast, June 28, GNA - The management of Kasoa Salgado F/C has threatened to take court action against the management of Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy for breach of contract. Mr Adamu Baako Gariba, an executive member of the Club told the GNA Sports at after a press conference at Cape Coast on Sunday.

According to the member of the Club, in 1999h Feyenoord Academy adopted Salgado F/C club under an agreement that in the event of transfer of a player, Salgado shall be entitled to 20 percent of the subsequent transfer fee. Mr Baako said Feyenoord Academy however reneged on the agreement when after transferring 14 players abroad they have since refused to honour the agreement after persistent demands. He warned that if Feyenoord Academy fails to honour the agreement within a month, the Club would be compelled to take legal action against the Academy.

Some of the players transferred include William Jiero, Edmund Owusu, Jordan Opoku, Akwasi Poku, Michael Edu, John Asante and Nafiu Mohammed.
