Ghanaian midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng is a major doubt for AC Milan’s crunch Serie-A game this weekend against Juventus.
The 26-year-old limped out of Milan’s 1-1 draw with Napoli with an ankle problem on Sunday night.
Boateng’s injury has left the Rossoneri further depleted with right-back Ignazio Abate also picking up a similar injury against Napoli and Mario alotelli suspended pending an appeal.
The injury setbacks frustrates Milan’s bid for second place in Serie-A as they will also be without Mathieu Flamini who got sent off against the Blues.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team are currently third in Serie-A with 59 points – four behind second-placed Napoli with six games left.
