Premier League Board member Kofi ‘Blue Blue’ Manu has stated in plain words that if there is anytime soccer faithfuls will pay Mr Kennedy ‘Cappuccino’ Agyapong in his own coin then, it is now.

To the vice chairman of the GFA Player Status Committee, Mr Agyapong Group CEO of Kenpong Travel and Tours (KT&T) has contributed immensely to the development of soccer in the country, particularly to the Red Army, and deserved to be rewarded accordingly.

Consequently, he has admonished sports and soccer fans to patronize KT&T exclusive travel package for the Brazil 2014 World Cup, Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the women U-20 World Cup in Canada later this year.

Speaking on Sika FM, a Kumasi-based radio over the weekend, he said “Kenpong has paid his dues for the development of sports in the country, particularly to Kotoko. His financial contribution and generosity to the Red Army is unquestionable.

“It is high time fans of Kotoko and soccer lovers in general paid him back for his meritorious service, he demonstrated real leadership qualities as Kotoko executive member.

“It baffles me when I hear people talk about track record. From a distance, I have realized his real strength lies in his ability to organize people and get things done with precision.

“He has handled and still handles tougher assignments, so I don’t think putting a package to airlift fans for soccer events would be a problem at all.

“Look, this is a man who has a genuine heart for Ghana football, I believes his works after the Brazil, Glasgow and Canada tournaments will speak for him and his competent staff,” said ‘Blue Blue’.

Kenpong’s love for football dates back to the 90’s when he together with Mr George Amoako, who now holds an executive position at KT&T led Kotoko for most of their continental campaigns including trips to Angola, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa etc and a training tour in Germany.
