Kofi Owusu vies for PLB player of the year award

Ghana Premier League goal king Kofi Owusu is in contention for the 2014/2015 Premier League Board Footballer of the Season.

The Berekum Chelsea forward has been shortlisted alongside AshantiGold deputy skipper and midfielder Eric Opoku and Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori.

Owusu, who bagged in 19 goals to help his side finish third on the table, is the overwhelming favourite to win the award.

The Premier League Board has announced nominees for this year’s Awards ceremony which will be held on Friday, 30th October, 2015 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

The Awards Ceremony will be to reward and recognize players, officials and clubs who excelled in the 2014/15 edition of the First Capital Plus Premier League.
