Footyghana.com understands that the Serbian head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Bogdan Korak could find himself out of a job as early as tomorrow evening after the team has returned from its Serbian tour.
According to our sources, some powerful figures within the Kotoko hierarchy believe that Korak has inhibited the talents of the players available and so want him out, but hesitated initially because there were contractual considerations.
Footyghana.com has learnt that the Kotoko management, in a bid to avoid paying up the remainder of his contract should he be fired, have asked Virtus International, the management company that brought Korak to Kotoko, to find them a replacement from any of their coaches.
Footyghana.com investigations have also uncovered the fact that Korak was not happy with the appointment of former Kotoko player Maxwell Konadu as his assistant, fearing that Konadu is being groomed to take his job from him.
As a result, he has developed some level of distrust towards Konadu.
Korak came under fire from Kotoko fans for losing to first division outfit Nania FC in the FA Cup final, and despite a decent showing on the Serbian pre-season tour, it would appear that his time is almost up with the former champions.
