According to JoyFM, Kumasi Asante Kotoko CEO, Major Yaw Larson has been sacked.
The Board of Directors of the club took the decision at a marathon meeting held yesterday in Kumasi.
Major Larson was on a two-year probation at the end of which the board had to confirm or reject his tenure as CEO of Kotoko.
Major will be summoned to attend the next board meeting on Thursday to defend his financial statement presented to the board.
The board has also plans to investigate thoroughly the clubs? books for any probable misappropriation of funds.
Meanwhile pending the appointment of a substantive CEO, the board has decided that three members of the board, Messrs Osei Kwame Despite, Kwabena Kesse also known as Kessben and Alhaji Enjie are to run the affairs of the club. The board?s decision is yet to receive the blessing of the club?s Life Patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu who is currently out of the country.
