Kumasi Asante Kotoko, on Sunday, come face-to-face with the dreaded Congolese side, A.S Police in the semi-final of the Mandela Cup. Considering their recent form under the technical direction of German Coach Ralf (the cat) Zumdich, Kotoko would be going all out to win convincingly, in order to make the second-leg an academic exercise.

However, the Porcupine Warriors must brace themselves for a tough encounter, against a stubborn A.S Police side who are yet to concede an away-goal in the competition and also remain second in their highly competitive domestic league.

In the light of the awesome nature of the battle on Sunday, the Chief Executive of Kotoko, Mr Herbert Mensah has called on all soccer-loving Ghanaians, as well as the entire supporters of the club to once again thronge the Kumasi Sports Stadium on sunday to support Kotoko to victory. According to Mr. Mensah, the Kotoko players are poised to do their club and country proud and therefore need the support of all.
