Kotoko Fan Dies in Jubilation

Kwame Aboagye, a staunch supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko sporting club, fell to death from a storey building out of jubilation at Asante Mampong when his darling club, Asante Kotoko recorded a 3-0 win over Al Mahala in Kumasi on September 1.

A teacher by profession, Aboagye who is popularly known as "Sabato" was said to have been overwhelmed by the victory so much that he was jumping all over the place and accidentally slipped and fell to his death.

Eyewitness accounts said Sabato was rushed to the hospital but died soon on arrival. He has since been buried after a post mortem examination.
