The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko headed by Sylvester Owusu Asare was given royal blessing and endorement from the owner and the spiritual leader of the club,Otumfo Nana Osei Tutu II paving way for smooth continuation of the herculean task at hand.“I bless and direct you to continue the good work you have started“,Nana urged his servants.
The seven member committee was at manhyia yesterday to answer questions on the accounts the management committee had presented to Nana. After exhaustive deliberations, Nana who is a professional accountant himself was convinced that the management had acted towards his(Nana) direction.
Nana further said a competent Board of Directors would be constituted to help the management in the running of the club.
In and exclusive interview with Sunyani-based radio station, SPACE FM this morning, Ayisi Boateng who is reponsible for finance and administration said he is not surprised Nana has given the green light because the members worked diligently to justify the confidence reposed in them by the owner of the club.
