Kumasi Asante Kotoko expects to have all of their players in the Black Meteors camp for their Confederations Cup match against Enugu Rangers of Nigeria on August 8, based on a memorandum of understanding signed with the Ghana Football Association.
But JoySports gathers that Kotoko?s expectations could suffer a hitch.
The porcupine warriors would now have two players - goalkeeper George Owoo and William Tierro against the wishes of coach Hans Dieter-Schmidt, who wants all of his five players to join the remaining squad in Kumasi.
The duo are expected to arrive from Portugal Wednesday.
The remaining three players - Charles Taylor, Mohammed Alhassan and meteors captain Yusif Chibsah would remain with the Meteors by the new arrangement.
Meanwhile Charles Taylor and Yusif Chibsah are both ruled for Kotoko?s game on Sunday after picking up cards in previous continental games.
Kotoko?s match on August 8 will be just four days to Ghana?s game against Italy at the Olympics.
The problem yet again highlights the club and country tussle between Ghanaian teams in African competitions and national assignments.
