Kumasi Asante Kotoko has called on arch rivals, Accra Hearts Of Oak to stop behaving as though it knows the regulations of Ghana football than any other Club in the Country including those who drafted the regulations.

The Team Manager of Kotoko, Opoku Afriyie who made these remarks on AUTHENTIC KAPITAL SPORTS, a sports programme on KAPITAL RADIO in Kumasi said it amazes him when Hearts decide to raise protests at any instance.

Refering to the pending protests at the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association involving the two teams in which Hearts are claiming to be declared winners and therefore the points from the game, Opoku Afriyie said the regulations of the FA are very clear on the Hearts claim rendering the Hearts claim meaningless.

He sounded that gone are the days when Hearts hijacked Ghana football and indirectly dictated the system, because all the teams have now grown into the politics of Ghana football.

He said Kotoko did not cause the delay of the game which ended one-all addig that even if the club did once that game was played for the full 90 minutes without any hitches there was surely no reason for any protest for any points. Opoku afriyie therefore charged the Kotoko family not to give any thoughts to Hearts' claim, since the Kotoko management has come of age to make mistakes to course the club any more points.

He expressed the hope that all things being equal Kotoko will win the on-going Ghana Telecom Sponsored Premier League.
