Kotoko boss lauds club’s feat

The Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko Dr K.K Sarpong has shared his joy of the club defending and winning its 22nd league title.

Dr Sarpong who has been on official duty in the United Kingdom met with officials of club partners Sunderland last week before being hosted by BBC's Peter Okwoche moments after the Ghanaian champions defended their league title for the first time in 20 years.

In an interview, the Kotoko chairman touched on the experiences he has had leading one of Africa's biggest clubs, challenges and achievements.

Dr Sarpong also spoke on Kotoko's relationship with Sunderland AFC and the expected future benefits that can propel the Porcupines to the limelight on the African continent again.
