Kotoko chief grateful to MTN for sponsorship package

Asante Kotoko recognizes the support of the Mobile Telecommunication Network-MTN-for shouldering the club via its sponsorship package.

For the past three years, MTN has been the main sponsor of the Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and that has helped cushioned their financial responsibilities.

Former Executive Board Chairman Dr KK Sarpong was influential in the signing of a two-and-a-half year deal in 2011. The contract was renewed last October under the current board of directors.

“Without MTN Kotoko would face a lot of problems and challenges. They have indeed been supportive to the club,” Nti told Metro FM.

“Also, MTN is able to fulfill its all contractual obligation to Kotoko as entrenched in the contract deal. It’s very commendable.”
