Hearts of Oak goalie, Sammy Adjei has conceded that Hearts ach rival, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has won this year¹s GLO league four matches clear.

Kotoko stretched their lead to 14 points with a 2-0 win over Mighty Jets in Accra last Saturday.

Speaking on Happy FM, Adjei said ³it is clear they (Kotoko) have won the league, they deserve it because they have worked for it² adding, ³We (Hearts) will bounce back in good shape next season²

Hearts of Oak fell 15 points behind Kotoko following a poor display against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei was man of the match as he stopped Dwarfs from scoring, earning Hearts an undeserved goalless draw to stay in third place on the log table with 40 points.

In a related development, AshantiGold coach, Yaw Acheampong says his team has also given up on the title race and will rather focus on finishing the season well.

He said, ³we have to congratulate them (Kotoko) for what they have done this season. I think they have won the title and I don't see how they will lose all their remaining games²

"We didn't have a good first round but we have turned things around this second round. We are in second position and still in the FA Cup. But we have to prepare well for next season and challenge." Acheampong said.

The Porcupine Warriors host Berekum Arsenal in Kumasi on Sunday and a win would mean, winning the GLO premier league title with four matches more to play.
