Kotoko does not owe former goalkeepers' trainer Nuhu Awudu - Kwaku Ahenkorah

Kotoko have rubbished claims of owing former goalkeepers' trainer Awudu Nuhu.

An embittered Nuhu claimed on Accra-based Happy FM this week that the club is indebted to him following his unceremonious exit.

But Kotoko's spokesman Kwaku Ahenkorah has poured cold water on the claims.

‘’It is never true that Kotoko owe Nuhu. The truth is that, the club wants to move to a certain direction and I hope you are aware that the FA has started implementing the Club Licensing requirements but unfortunately Nuhu does not have the required qualification,’’ he told Kumasi-based Hello FM.

‘’We promised him a package, even not only him but all those who had served the club. That is what we are yet to pay him.

‘’So we don’t owe him any monthly salaries. That is not true. We have paid him three months salary.’’

Nuhu served as the club's goalkeepers' trainer for an astonishing 17-years.
