Kotoko exodus: Nti Boakye, Yeboah join Al Ahly

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that Kofi Nti Boakye has probably played his last match for Asante Kotoko.

Nti Boakye, who came on as a substitute in Asante Kotoko’s 0-1 loss to Medeama SC in the MTN FA Cup final on Sunday, will leave to join Libyan top flight club, Al Ahly Tripoli in a two-year deal.

According to our highly placed sources, the Nti Boakye deal will net Asante Kotoko an amount in the region of $300,000.

Nti Boakye will be joined at the club by midfielder Richard Yeboah, who is returning to fitness after injury ruled him out of most of the just ended season.

Yeboah will also net Asante Kotoko about $150,000.
