Touching on moves to get Baba “Armando” Adamu registered in time to play for Kotoko this Sunday, Jerry said “there are a few hitches here and there but we are doing our possible best to ensure he gets registered.” In a related development, Baba Armando has urged the teeming Kotoko fans to get behind him as he gets set to help the fabulous club regain its past glories. The player, who is back into the fold of Kotoko to re-launch his career after a sojourn abroad, said “I need the prayers of everyone to be able to contribute my quota towards the upliftment of the image of Kotoko”. But he was quick to re-iterate that he alone couldn't shoulder the whole responsibility of leading Kotoko to the league title. “Everyone should know that Armando alone can't do the job on his own as there are a couple of other good players in the camp of Kotoko who should also be encouraged to deliver the goods” he said. Armando has been pulling crowds to the Kotoko training grounds and the fans are delighted to have him back into their fold and believes a devastating three-pronged attack consisting of Armando, Kojo Poku and Eric Bekoe will be banging in the goals to lead Kotoko to wrestle the title back from defending champions, Accra Hearts of Oak.
