Asante Kotoko’s Deputy Operations Manager Alhaji Ali Maradona has expressed uncertainty about the future of the Opoku Nti-led management at the club and says the outgoing management members are waiting for a decision from Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on the club’s future.
There has been no word yet from Kotoko’s owner and life patron about the General Manager’s fate with the club, a situation which has affected the Kumasi-based side’s player recruitment strategy.
“For now the management and the board, we all know our time is up, so, we don’t want to go far with recruitment because we don’t know what the new management wants. We are patiently waiting for Otumfuo to come out with a decision on the management of the club. We don’t have any option than to wait on the owner of the club now,” Ali Maradona told Class Sports.
The future of the Kotoko team is currently uncertain as the tenures of both the board and management are over.
