Accra, July 21, GNA - Nana Asiedu Donkor, Chairman of Okwawu united has fired the first shot ahead of his side's crunch encounter with league leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium. The chairman said his side was poised to cause an up-set to the Porcupine Warriors who until their last Sunday's defeat at the hands of league debutants, Kpondo Hearts of Lions, have been on a winning spleen. Nana Asiedu said his side had put their painful loss to Hearts of Oak last Saturday behind them and inspired by the Lions feat would play their heart out to add to the woes of Kotoko on Wednesday.

Conceding the strength of the Garden City lads, the Chairman side Okwawu would zoom straight into the game without fear but with a common aim to take the three maximum points at stake. He said though Kotoko stands as the favourite by book makers, the Okwawu lads would capitalize on their under-dog status and cause a stair in the Kotoko camp. The chairman called on supporters of Okwahu to troop to the stadium and inspire the team to victory. Okwawu is currently occupying the last spot on the nine-week old league table and a win would change their position.
