Asante Kotoko has restructured the winning bonus of the playing body,Sportsniteleaks.com can confirm.
Management of the club had agreed to pay winning bonuses to players depending on when they joined the club.
According to management, coach David Duncan suggested that when he was employed as the head coach of the club.
Newly signed players were paid more in winning bonus than retained players, whilst retained earned more in salaries. The agreement almost tore the harmony within the playing body, but a meeting between the players and managers of the club solved the issue.
The retained players were paid GH¢ 300 each for home win and away victory was GH¢ 400.00, while the new players were given GH¢ 400.00 for him win and GH¢ 600.00 for away victory.
But the club has decided to restructure the bonus, levelling it for all players. Each player, either new or old, according Sportsniteleaks.com sources, will be paid GH¢ 300.00 each for a win at home, and will earn GH¢ 400.00 each for an away victory.
