Kotoko pocket US$16,250 for winning Ghana Premier League

Asante Kotoko have received a cheque for 65,000 Ghana cedis (US$16,250) from title sponsor First Capital Plus Bank for winning last season’s league.

The Porcupine Warriors received the dummy cheque at last Sunday’s Premier League awards night at the Banquet Hall of State House.

Kotoko ended the term with five 55 points; eight more than second placed Heart of Lions who received 15,000 Ghana cedis (US$ 3,750)

Third placed Hearts of Oak pocketed 10,000 Ghana cedis and AshantiGold 5,000 Ghana cedis for finish fourth.
