Ghanaian Champions Asante Kotoko have received a combined $300,000 [GHS 1,086,750] fee for the recent sale of striking duo Seidu Bancey and Abdul Aziz Yusif to Egypt Premier League side Smouha SC, footy-Ghana.com can reveal exclusively.

As footy-Ghana previously revealed, top striker Seidu Bancey’s three-year contract fetched the club $200,000 while Abdul Aziz Yusif’s surprise move to the Blue Waves was worth $100,000 in transfer fee.

As per article 33 (5) of the Ghana FA Regulations, Kotoko will have to pay 10% of the individual transfer amounts to the Ghana FA of which half will go to GHALCA, agency fees (if any) as well as the onward transfer clause due the clubs (Ebusua Dwarfs and Real Tamale United) who sold the players to the porcupine warriors before arriving at their net income on the sale of the duo.

Footy-Ghana understands Ebusua Dwarfs is entitled to 30% of the transfer fees for striker Seidu Bancey.

However, Kotoko who have been slow in the local transfer market due to inadequate funds are surely boosted to seal already agreed deals for their transfer targets.
