The Asante Kotoko Africa Cup Committee in its plans to ensure a successful campaign in the CAF Champions League next season will be embarking on a project to transport its supporters to away games during the Africa campaign.
A member of the committee and CEO of Africa Origin Travel and Tours, Mr. Sampson Deen exclusively revealed the committee’s innovation on the club’s dedicated radio show ‘Fabulous Hour’ on Kumasi-based Boss FM.
“The travel Supporters club is a drive that will give every supporter of the club an opportunity to pay GH¢ 100 to a dedicated account and the paid amount automatically gives the subscriber five distinct home game tickets for our Africa matches.”
“We are planning to sell 5000 of those tickets so when one subsscribes, the person enjoys two services; as a member of the Africa travel club and a holder of all home match tickets up to the finals. This will give the opportunity to the supporters to travel with the team to away games.”
According to Sampson Deen, the account number will soon be made known to the public and the registration process into the ‘Travellers’ Club will be done at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
