New Edubiase President Abdul Salam Yakubu predicts an easy win over Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The two sides will clash at Bekwai on Sunday as the Ghana Premier League reaches home stretch.
The fixture however has been characterised by allegations of attempted player inducements.
Edubiase chief Abdul Salam Yakubu has claimed attempts have been made by some officials of Kotoko to entice his some players of his team especially controversial midfielder Asiedu Atobrah ahead of the game.
The move, he claims has forced the team to embark on an early camping to avert a potential match-fixing scenario but insists beating Kotoko will be the easiest task for his team this season.
“We believe attempts have been made by some top officials of Kotoko to induce some our players,” Yakubu claimed
“And we’re not happy about it. Having said that there is no way Kotoko can beat us in Bekwai.
‘It has not happened and it will never happen. We’ll beat them with our eyes closed.
“Beating Kotoko in Bekwai is the easiest task of the season. This is an Ashanti Regional derby and we’re going to do whatever is necessary to win.
“I’m just not happy with the clandestine move being adopted by some officials of Kotoko in their dealings with my players," he stressed.
Edubiase are not far from safety after picking only 27 points from 21 games and lie 12th on the League standings.
