Kotoko yet to agree deal with Chelsea’s Owusu

Ghana league champions Asante Kotoko are yet to agree a deal with Berekum Chelsea over their goal poacher Obed Owusu, Goal Ghana can reveal.

According to sources, negotiation between the Porcupine Warriors and the Blues are in the closing stages.

However, Goal Ghana can confirm that although talks are still ongoing, Owusu has officially penned a three-year pre-contract with the Kumasi-based giants and has begun training with the reigning league champions at the team's pre-season camping base in Tamale.

Owusu has been on the wish list of the Porcupine Warriors since the departure of Abdul Aziz Yusif and Seidu Bancey to Egyptian side Smouha.
