Asante Kotoko will this week receive the $200,000 transfer money of striker Seidu Bansey from Egyptian club Smouha.

The 24-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Alexandria-based Club last month after a remarkable performance with the Ghana Champions last season in the First Capital plus premier league where he bagged in 11 league goals to finish second top scorer in the league.

“Kotoko will receive Seidu Bansey’s transfer money this week, latest by Wednesday they will receive the transfer money of $200,000,” an inside source revealed to Ghanasportsonline.com

The former Ebusua Dwarfs forward who was a member of the local Black Stars silver winning team at the CHAN tournament in South African early this year will be pairing up with former Asante Kotoko team-mate Abdul Aziz Yusif as the Egyptian side also captured the signature of the 22-year-old.
