Former Black Stars captain Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor has revealed that he is returning to Accra Hearts of Oak next week to help them win the African Champions League title again and to the Ghana league title for the seventh consecutive time.
The 26 year old was speaking form London where he is currently on holidays after his loan contract with the Russian second division team Anzi run out.He pointed out that "after this deserved break in London i will go into serious training with the team currently camping in Keta to ensure my full fitness for the start of the season".
Asked if the departure of Ishmael Addo will make their quest for the Champions League title a difficult one, Kuffuor said "it would have been great to have Ishmael but we still have Charles Taylor, Bortey, Awudu Adama,Stephen Tetteh, Jacob Nettey and the rest plus some new players like Mumuni and Daniel "Kofi Gari" Coleman so think we will make it stronger than before".
He pointed out that he still has contacts with some foreign teams who want to sign him up but he say this time around he has to carefully consider any move to Europe since he has in mind of winning back his place in the Black Stars.
Kuffuor will leave London on Sunday and is expected to join his colleagues in Keta latest by next Wednesday.
