The Public Relations Officer of the FIFA/CAF Liaison team, Dan Kwaku Yeboah has allayed fears that Inter Milan star Kwadwo Asamoah couldn’t finish training due to injury at the Black Stars camping base in Ethiopia where they are training ahead of the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers against Kenya.
Report has gone viral that the Inter Milan ace has been ruled out of the clash after suffering an injury in training grounds.
But the reports have been rubbished by Dan Kweku Yeboah.
“Ghanaians should not panic there’s no situation, it’s not true Kwadwo Asamoah is injured,” he said.
“He only took precaution to sit out some few minutes to end of training to put ice on his knee which was precautionary.
“He’s not injured. He is fit and ready to play on Saturday,” he added.
Asamoah arrived in Addis Ababa on Tuesday night to join the rest of the players as they prepare for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
