Juventus wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah has been ruled out for two weeks following a knee injury.
The versatile midfielder picked up an injury during the Old Lady’s Serie A game against Empoli over the weekend.
The 25-year-old played through pains in Tuesday’s 3-2 Champions League victory over Olympiacos.
However, an official statement from the Turin-based club said: “Kwadwo Asamoah will be out for a precautionary period of 15 days in order to fully recover from the injury he sustained during last Saturday's Serie A meeting with Empoli.”
It added: “The Ghanaian featured in last night’s game against Olympiacos but continued inflammation in his knee means he will be rested over the next couple of weeks.”
Asamoah will therefore miss Ghana’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda on November 15.
