Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey proved he is in top form ahead of Ghana’s World Cup playoff with Egypt by helping Stromsgodset to move top of the Norwegian league on Saturday.
The 25-year-old ensured his side won 2-1 against Valerenga at home to open a one point advantage over Rosenborg who play Honefoss on Sunday.
Kwarasey has now played in all 26 matches for Stromsgodset where he is captain of the side.
He faces stiff competition from Fatau Dauda and Richard Kingson for the number one position to face the Pharaohs.
The Norway-born goalkeeper missed Ghana’s last qualifier against Zambia last month with a groin injury.
