Ghana forward Kwesi Appiah played for AFC Wimbledon in their 2-0 defeat to Wycombe in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.
The 26-year-old, who was rested in the win against Championship outfit Albion Burton, was drafted into the team.
But former Dons striker Bayo Akinfenwa returned to haunt the side after scoring the second with a lovely first-half volley after Luke O'Nien had opened the scoring for Gareth Ainsworth's League 2 side.
The Ghana international rejoined the side on a permanent contract from Crystal Palace in May.
