The agreement will enable Village Communications in connection with Africast to broadcast the global launch to viewers in United States and to the over 30 African Television Stations.

Mr Danquah said the agreement will also be a testing ground for branding the CAN 2008 Ghana Tournament and indirectly positioning the entire nation as the most preferred sports tourism destination even before the tournament.

=93For the LOC, this is a dress rehearsal for the kind of opening ceremony we plan to dazzle the world with, especially since the tournament will come in the wake of other national events such as the Golden Jubilee Independence Anniversary celebrations next year.
